Riddle us this! What happens when you cross a Romper with overalls? Why, likely the most comfy thing you’ve ever put on your body, AMIRIGHT?! If you love Smash + Tess Rompers, the S+T Romperalls are your next logical step.
Fabric and build:
Made in the Smash + Tess signature Rayon from Bamboo and Cotton blend in our their new pattern, two toned Lexi Leopard, the Romperalls are reminiscent of a Romper, but with the layering capability of an overall. It has a traditional patch pocket on the front chest, square neckline, sewn straps, with in-seam pockets. The length is a little bit longer than our traditional Rompers, so they encourage a little cuff… and best of all, the side cuts were designed to offer more coverage than the average overall, sure you want to look cute, but even better, you want to feel comfortable at the same time.
For the majority of the Smash + Tess rompers, excluding limited edition, seasonal items, we use an incredibly soft and high quality fabric that is 66% Rayon from Bamboo, 28% Cotton and 6% Spandex.
Although the fabric experts say you should wash cold and can tumble dry, some dryers are a girl’s best frenemy! Sure they make life easy, but they can be super hard on your clothes! To be on the safe side, Smash + Tess recommend washing in cool and lay flat to dry. Be sure not to hang it, as the weight of the item may stretch and pull it down.
How do you keep your romper silky smooth? Fabric pilling can be prevented to some extent by proper washing and care. Try washing your romper inside out and on a shorter wash cycle with gentle agitation.
And a reminder, just because the fabric is expensive, does not mean that it’s made of steel. It will snag or tear if you aren’t careful. So be sure to take good care of your romper, and yourself – cause both are amazing!
